We are extremely pleased to add Mary Jursinovic to our family of AppleShed artists. Mary founded Creekside Pottery in Crested Butte in 1980. After living in Crested Butte for many years she and her husband Tony, have moved to Paonia in the North Fork Valley. It is here she now has her studio for working and also for lessons to aspiring potters. She offers workshops and individualized intsruction in all levels of the ceramic process

Mary produces finely handcrafted pottery that offers a full range of functional and decorative clay art. She specializes in creatively designed lamps, dinner and kitchen ware, memorial urns, and decorating accessories. Many of her works feature "little landscapes" that are so much fun to look at and explore. Mary has never lost her spirit of adventure and is not afraid to try new techniques and processes. Some of her pieces show  very fine, beautiful spidery like patterns achieved by throwing horse hair on the hot fired piece of pottery. Truly unique!  Mary can be reached at 970-527-3227
